At Sports and Life Skills we try our best to ensure the safety, well-being and enjoyment in all our sessions and lessons for participants and staff.
So please read the code of conduct for participants/spectators/parents and staff before bringing your child to one of our sessions and fill one out once you arrive please.
Participants Code Of Conduct
- Respect everyone in the group
- Listen and respond to what the teacher/coach tells me
- Play fairly- I won’t cheat or complain
- Come in suitable clothing for the activity and weather
- Provide contact information in case of an emergency
- Bring a bottle of water
- Try your Best
Spectators/Parents/Carers Code Of Conduct
- Remember that children play for fun
- Applaud effort and good behaviour as well as success
- Always respect the coaches/teachers decision
- Remain outside the playing area until the session/lesson is over
- Let the coach/teacher do their job and not confuse the participants by telling them what to do
- Encourage participants to respect and behave at the session/lesson
- Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulating, or abusive language or behaviour
- Avoid criticising a player or your son/daughter for making a mistake- a mistake is a part of learning
- Remember that we live in the UK and bring all clothing just in case
- Assure your son/daughter has brought a drink of water
Staff and Volunteers Code Of Conduct
- Check equipment and playing area is safe to use before you start
- Ensure register, membership forms are up to date
- Ensure a professional high standards at all time
- Please remember that your behaviour, attitude and actions represent Sports and Life Skills organisation
- Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour
- Treat everyone equal and with respect and promote fair play
- Its your decision in terms of having to cancel a session due to weather, on field issues or off field issues
- Place the well being, safety and enjoyment of each participant above everything, including winning
