With it being touch and go with the October half term 2020 not happening due to the current pandemic, we were lucky to complete the programme as the lockdown was announced the following day after we finished.
We decided to have 3 groups due to the high demand in the older age group, we had a 4-8 year old group, a 9-11 year old group, a 11-14 year old group.
We had 77 young people partake in the programme over the 5 days, averaging 54 kids per day in a time of uncertainty was amazing.
Here are a few pictures of the week:
This summer was something to remember as there were a lot of firsts, the first time we have ever had to deal with a pandemic, the first time we had to split the groups from 2 to 3 as there were so many kids interested in partaking, the first time we ever delivered a parents fun day at Marks Gate, the first time we ever delivered Badminton and Netball at Marks Gate.
With all that being said, we had an amazing time and as always we received so much positive feedback from the 4 weeks. We taught 104 different kids over the 4 weeks, averaging 58 kids per day. 65 males and 39 females were able to come out everyday and enjoy all the benefits of sports on their doorsteps.

The February half term multi sports programme was well attended even on the rainy days, we had 78 different kids over the 5 days. Averaging 51 kids per day, it was a great effort from all parties from parents/coaches and most importantly young people.

The October half term multi sports programme went amazing, with 76 different kids getting involved over the 5 days.
With each day having a different sport and a different life skill to learn, the young kids took on all new challenges so well.
We would like to thank all the young people, parents and staff for all their effort over the week.

The summer programme at Marks Gate is the first of many to come, we had 4 weeks of great attitude, behaviour and willingness to learn.
We taught 146 different kids over the 4 weeks averaging over 50 kids per day over the 20 days, the most unexpected stat was that we out of the 146 kids 66 were females and 80 being males.
We would like to thank everyone for the support and spreading information about the programme, we had 66 kids come down on the first day which was amazing.
A massive thank you to all the parents and kids for taking their time out to get involved and of course the coaches for making it happen.

After the success of our Multi sports programme in May 2018, we are proud to announce that we will be delivering Half term multi sports projects starting this summer in 2019.
Our next one starts from the 29th July-23rd August 2019, it is a 4 week programme, totally free to partake in. We know a lot of families like to go away and see other relatives so by signing up it doesn’t require you to come to every session. Lets just say its there so you know your child has something safe, structured and organised to do over the summer if you in tail.
Each day your child will partake in a different sport and learn and focus on a different life skill at the same time. Your child will get to meet new people and hopefully make new friends and all sports are delivered for maximum fun not elite level.
Places are limited due to the size of the facilities, so register your child/children before its too late to avoid disappointment. You can also sign up on the day but you risk the chance of being turned away if its full.
You can sign up by emailing us back the sign up form to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note we only allow water at our sessions, so again please read through our code of conduct before signing up please.
We ran a May/June half term multi sports program in Barking and Dagenham (St Marks Gate) it was our first time down there and the young people and parents really took to the program really well. We delivered football, crcicket, hockey, touch rugby, dodgeball and last day was our fun day. We was only able to do 4 days due to the rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon, never the less we had great numbers over the 4 days averaging 29 young people a day.
A massive thank you to North Meets South for this great partnership and opportunity.
