With news that a large amount of the young kids that booked on had to self isolate due to a positive case in their school it wasn’t the best start we had wished for. On a positive note the weather on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday was amazing. Some even say to hot lol. Friday however was a wash out due to the poring rain.
We had 57 different kids partake over the 3 days, 15 females and 42 males where they took part in dodgeball, football and basketball.
As always a massive thank you to all the coaches, the parents and young people for the great effort.
Here are a few pictures from the 3 days:
With the country opening back up in stages due to the 3rd national lockdown, we were optimistic about how well attended the multi sports programme would have been. However the demand from parents was crazy and we went ahead.
The Easter half term was 9 days long, where the young people got to partake in 8 different sports and a fun day on the last day. We had 88 different kids partake over the programme, 56 males and 32 females and averaging 54 kids per day.
As always a massive thank you to the parents/guardians, the young people and the coaches for their great effort over the 9 days, also a massive thank you to Bankside Open Space Trust and King Baudouin Foundation for supporting us.
Here are a few pictures over the 9 days:
October 2020 was the start of something new for us, we went across the water to the Southside.
We have team up with King Baudouin Foundation and Bankside Open Space Trust to bring our multi sports half term programmes that have been very successful in North and East London to Southwark at Marlborough Sports Garden.
Our first half term Multi sports in Marlborough Sports Garden (Southwark) went very well, with the weather and the pandemic trying its best to cancel the programme.
We had 77 different young people partake in the programme over the 5 days, 25 females and 52 males. We delivered a range of sporting activities from Dodgeball, Football, Touch Rugby, Archery, Tennis and Hockey. With each day having a different theme of life skill, we covered awareness, personal achievement, teamwork, effort, trust and encouragement.
Friday was the fun day where all our young people took part in fun little games such as relay races, egg and spoon races and so much more and medals where given out for their great effort and work throughout the weekend.
