Thank You Page

Where do I (Steven Marshall) start

First of all I would like to thank every single person that has had some positive input into the company and without you the company wouldn’t be where it is now so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

Sports and Life Skills wouldn’t be as busy/popular if it wasn’t for the parents spreading the word about the sessions, as income has been very limited and not being able to publicise the company the way we would have wanted to so we appreciate and recognise all your effort.

I would like to say a big thank you to my friend Jason who basically set up this website for me, taught me how to edit and add pictures and so on.

Karen aka my second mother, who has basically helped guide me in my life for well over 6 years easily. For all her hard work on funding bids and forever sending me job applications (not looking for a new job btw)

Jonathan, a local resident who has taken time out to help me rearrange the context of the website and give me loads of quality advice.

Anna aka bubble for being the brains of the website, basically editing my broken English into something that people can read and understand. Also for all the help with homework club for the 8-13 year old group.

BSIX College for allowing me to trial run the 16-21 year old program, which went very well and I hope to do it again this academic year but especially Mr Warman who has believed in me and trusted me to make a change in the world.

Teena and Andrew from the Mildmay Community Centre, for a wonderful partnership and for allowing us to use the facilities to do the homework club.

Martel, Huseyin, Seyda and Merdan for all your hard work in coaching at the sessions, without you guys I wouldn’t have been able to deliver any of the sessions so a very big thank you.

Hussein, Adaku, Dawan and Charlene for all their hard work volunteering to do the homework club for the 4-7 year and 8-13 year old groups, I know how hard it is to get them to listen on the pitch so to be able to help and teach them to do their homework is nothing short of amazing.

My good friend Mr Moroglu, who helped with some great advice and is a person I look up to even though he is shorter than me. But for his great work in helping design the posters for homework club and other great posters.

Last but not least to all the participants that have taken part in any of the programmes over the last year, without you guys there would be no need to run these sessions, so I appreciate all the willingness to learn and try something new because I know first hand that trying something new is never easy but you guys made it easy and enjoyable to teach the programmes.
